Hey y’all, it’s been a while since I’ve added anything to my blog, but to be honest with you there hasn’t been much to report lately. The corporate band that I’m with, Bluewater Kings, is in full swing and my schedule is jampacked with weddings until about the end of the year. I’ve had a lot of requests to come see the BWK band, but since we mostly play private events I’ve decided to bring the band to you guys! Enter “Marlon and the Shakes”, which is basically the Bluewater Kings band with a few of my favorite covers sprinkled in as well. Other than that, I have a few solo looping shows peppered throughout the summer months so be sure to come and chill with me at one of the various spots in the Chicagoland area.

For you SoulFix fans, we are working on mixing down some recordings that we laid down a couple of years ago. Stay tuned, as we are close to wrapping that up and releasing it into the wild!
